Sewing Lessons from Kathy

Kathy is an experienced teacher of sewing, from the simplest hand-sewing techniques to creative sewing using all the features of modern sewing machines.

Whether you are a beginner who is thinking about buying their first sewing machine or an experienced sewer who wants to learn new techniques Kathy is there to help.

Kathy is a Martha Pullen certified instructor in Heirloom as well as Vintage, Classic and Contemporary techniques. As a result, she has over 40 projects to take a class in and create some very beautiful items.

Kathy's students range from young ladies who want to make clothes for their dolls to senior citizens who want to make clothes for their granddaughters or grandsons. They include teenagers who want to design and make their own clothes or even prepare a portfolio for entry into Fashion Design Schools. They also include adults who want to make fashionable clothes that fit as well as making clothes for special occasions such as parties and weddings.

That is not to forget her students (mostly men) who take lessons from Kathy to learn to sew canvas and heavy waterproof fabrics, as well as leather, so they can repair their boats and cars, as well as upholster furniture.
